TRAINING

In a theatre, where does the work of a stage technician end and where does that of a rigger begin?

We believe that to become a complete stage technician, one must understand rigging. And, of course, to be a skilled theatre rigger, one must also understand stage machinery.

Otherwise, we risk overlooking a large part of the machinery and systems within a stage house, and we will lack the technical knowledge and practical skills required to operate confidently in a theatre environment.

Rigging in theatre is not just about installing motors — it goes far beyond that.
